Eduardo Zerbe

National Coordinator, Voting Rights & Stop Hate Project

Eduardo Zerbe joined the Lawyers’ Committee in June 2015, working primarily on Voting Rights and Criminal Justice issues. Since then, Eduardo has shifted to primarily working with the Voting Rights and Stop Hate Projects. As a National Coordinator, Eduardo works with dozens of local, state, and national organizations to lead the Lawyers’ Committee’s programmatic work throughout Texas, Virginia, Native American Communities, and student/youth populations throughout the United States.

Prior to joining the Lawyers’ Committee, Eduardo worked in the office of Texas State Representative Ruth Jones McClendon, focusing mostly on Criminal Justice, Public Health, and Transportation issues.

Eduardo is also a Co-Founder, and currently sits on the Board of Directors, of MOVE San Antonio, a non-profit organization that works to increase the political representation of young people in San Antonio, Texas.

Eduardo was born in Monterrey, Mexico and graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies and Economics.
