C. Ann Hewitt serves as Human Resources Manager at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law where she leads all Human Resources Administration–including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Recruitment, Professional Development, Training and Internal Communications.
C. Ann Hewitt is an accomplished Senior Human Resources Professional with more than 10 years experience in the Human Resources, Administration and Finance fields. She has extensive background in HR Generalist Affairs and Accounting, including experience in Employee Recruitment and Retention, Staff Development, Benefits and Compensation, HR Records Management, HR Policies Development, Legal Compliance and Facilities Management, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Prior to joining the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, C. Ann served as Staff Accountant & HR Manager at one of the world’s largest health and disability organizations–United Cerebral Palsy, Inc. In this capacity, she was responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of the organization’s Accounts Payable/Receivable, Human Resources, and Facilities Management programs, plans, procedures and practices.
C. Ann holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Howard University and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Strayer University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her toddler son, Landon, and mentoring, painting and meditating.
