Civil Rights Community Training and Technical Assistance
Building on nearly a decade of experience with the Parental Readiness and Empowerment Program (PREP), the Educational Opportunities Project continues to serve as an advocacy catalyst and resource on education civil rights law as a collaborative trainer and technical assistance provider to state and community organizations, educators, parents and caregivers, and other key stakeholders who seek to empower and support underserved communities of color in pursuit of meaningful access to high quality education.
The EOP delivers in-person and virtual education and training through workshops, clinics, and consultations and offers myriad resources related to parent advocacy and engagement, English learners, school climate, race and national origin discrimination, and implementing best practices for civil rights and equal access to education.
